Golden Sun Characters

In every saga, the two sides of antagonists and protagonists co-exists. The same thing applies to this very Golden Sun Trilogy and in this post, I'll be describing some of the important protagonist in the first two series ; Golden Sun and Golden Sun:The Lost Age.

1. Isaac

Isaac is a Venus Adept, a playable character in Golden Sun, Golden Sun: The Lost Age and a main character in the overall Golden Sun series.

He is the silent protagonist and party leader of the original Golden Sun, and gains a speaking role in his appearance late in Golden Sun: The Lost Age as a co-leader of the game's extended final party. He eventually becomes the father of Matthew, the main playable character of Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, and husband to Jenna. Isaac is considered to be the most powerful Earth Adept in the Golden Sun series, due to his age at the beginning of his psynergy training and his adventures across Weyard. His powers are closely followed by fellow Venus Adept Felix and his son Matthew.

2. Garet

Garet is a Mars Adept and a playable character in Golden Sun and Golden Sun : The Lost Age He is the one who is tasked to personally accompany his closest friend, Isaac, on the latter's quest and endeavors all throughout the Golden Sun Series, but is also a foil for the occasional comedy relief. He eventually becomes the father of Tyrell, a playable character in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn

3. Ivan

Ivan is a Jupiter Adept and a playable character in Golden Sun and Golden Sun : The Lost  AGE. As a party member, he is a mage-style Jupiter Adept who has an extremely similar successor in Sheba in the second game. He eventually fathers Karis, a playable character of Golden Sun:Dark Dawn. Ivan is highly tuned to his element, Jupiter. At the age of 14 he was considered the most gifted Jupiter adept in all of Weyard.

4. Mia

Mia is a Mercury Adept and a playable character in Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age. She is one of several mage-style Mercury Adepts in the series (the other being her son), and is probably the only Adept that can be labeled the "designated healer" to the player's party. She eventually becomes the mother of Rieef and Nowell. She is among only a small number of Mercury adepts in Weyard that the game reveals. She is a highly proficient adept, as she is very powerful at healing comrades. However she is only beaten by Alex, an immensely powerful Mercury adept whose full power is not witnessed.
